Production fires don't wait for convenient timing.
It's 11pm on a Friday. Your app is throwing 500 errors. Your on-call dev has been staring at the same stack trace for two hours. Customers are emailing. Revenue is bleeding.
Or maybe it's not that dramatic—but it could be. A security advisory just dropped for a gem you're using. A deployment went sideways and you don't know why.
You inherited a Rails app that no one fully documented, and now it's your responsibility when something breaks.
In any of these situations, the worst thing you can do is wait.
Common Rails emergencies we've resolved.
- Performance degradation — pages timing out, N+1 queries, slow database calls
- Failed deployments — app won't boot after a gem update or migration
- Security vulnerabilities — CVEs in gems, exposed credentials, suspicious activity
- Dependency conflicts — Ruby or Rails version mismatches blocking upgrades
- Data integrity issues — corrupted records, failed background jobs, sync problems
- Infrastructure problems — Heroku dynos crashing, AWS outages, memory bloat, config drift

An experienced engineer on your problem—not a ticket queue.
We assign a Senior Rails engineer directly to your issue. Not a coordinator. Not a junior dev who'll spend three hours reading the codebase. Someone who has worked on complex, mature Rails applications and can orient quickly.
