William Weber

The best way to be introduced into the coding world is by doing it for fun! William began his coding journey by writing scripts to make games more fun. For example, he added an in-game jukebox to listen to whatever music he wanted- like some Lo-Fi or DnB!

William joins us from Jacksonville, Florida, where he grew up and later earned his degree in Computer Science at the University of North Florida. He’s always worked in software development, beginning his first job before graduating college. He enjoys working on various projects and using his skills to build things for others.

He finds enjoyment in software development because he can learn about markets, industries, and businesses around the world that he wouldn’t know about otherwise. William has contributed to the open-source project Owncloud, which gives users agency over their digital lives by helping them host their own email, calendar, contact, and file servers.

When he’s not working on coding projects, William enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and drawing. You might even find him at the local Humane Society in the near future!
