Meet Joshua

Joshua started his life’s journey at the beginning of the Oregon Trail in Kansas City, Missouri and lives today near the end in Portland, Oregon. Before venturing west he sought out several other equally ambitious but more geographically constrained adventures.

One included starting a small business in middle school—a requirement by his father. When high school ended, he was officially known as ‘the monster’—his father’s Frankenstein. He was the uncontrollable offspring whose entrepreneurial success as a construction manager was deterring his desire to start college. But he did. And eventually finished at the University of Missouri, Columbia—followed immediately with his Certified Associate of Project Management (CAPM) from PMI.

The years since finishing school brought him farther and farther west, further developing his skills as a Project Manager along the way. When not organizing, planning, or relentlessly following-up—which isn’t often—he enjoys reading, writing, happy hour; or, the more active pursuits of tromping and riding around the Cascades, dreaming of summer where his free time is spent sailing.
